Carolina Livio - "Rio waves"

“Rio waves” is an XXL artwork measuring 100x200 cm, painted by hand with acrylic and lime on canvas. It is a soft sequence of textured and precise waves, alternating warm and cool colors that create its dynamism. The movement and chromatic sensation recall to the author the carioca colors of the earth blending with the ocean. Ideal for adding warmth and personality to an interior space, whether public or private.

Carolina Livio, illustrator and cartoonist, was born in Cantù on August 9, 1990. After completing her academic studies at the Scuola del Fumetto in Milan, she dedicates her heart and soul to her greatest passion, drawing.
Her field experience began in 2012, thanks to a collaboration with Mondadori, where Carolina lent her hand to the creation of the Geronimo Stilton book series, particularly the Storie da Ridere, the Great Classics, and the Tea Sisters. Thus began, in Milan, her career as a comic artist and illustrator, which later developed through collaborations with Disney, working on classic characters such as Mickey Mouse, Minnie, Donald Duck and Daisy, before moving on to various types of projects, from graphic studios to communications, from collaborations with small and large companies (for which she develops and delivers graphical concepts, from catalog to trade show stand).
After several years in the Milan area, in 2018 Carolina moved to the Vicenza area and joined forces with designer Mauro Zolin, giving life to the Coltivi IDEA project, a 360-degree design studio (coltivi.it).
Alongside her work as an illustrator, Carolina creates acrylic works on canvas, in particular enjoying large-scale paintings. The pieces are created on commission or driven by inspiration and the moment’s need.
