Bell shrine - massive bronze - 20th century

Ancient liturgical bell in solid bronze, of Slavic origin (Russia or the Balkans). This Orthodox devotion object features a slender silhouette with rich iconography: a bas-relief frieze depicting saints and evangelists under Byzantine arches, as well as inscriptions in Old Slavic (archaic Cyrillic) on the lower border.

• Material: Solid bronze with the original brown patina and traces of natural verdigris inside.
Condition
Authentic object "as is". Structure sound with excellent acoustic resonance (crystal-clear and long tone). Note: a modern break on the summit cross and absence of the original clapper.
