Description from the seller
“Liquid Reverie” XL is a visual artwork by Nik Haku that embodies the primal dialogue between desire and dissolution. Suspended in an aquatic embrace, a solitary figure surrenders to the current, her form enveloped in translucent waves that caress and conceal. The water becomes both veil and skin, tracing every contour with fluid intimacy. The deep indigo palette blurs the line between flesh and ocean, transforming her presence into a dream of sensuality and depth.
Artist’s statement:
This piece is an exploration of surrender—the body as both vessel and tide. I wanted to capture the sensuality of immersion, where the boundary between human and water dissolves into pure sensation. The figure does not fight the current; she becomes it. It is not about resistance, but about yielding, allowing the liquid to sculpt presence and absence at once. What emerges is a meditation on desire as something fluid, infinite, and eternal.
Artwork details:

About the artist:
I’m Nik Haku, a visual artist and photographer exploring the space between the real and the altered.
My practice blends multiple techniques —primarily fine art photography, complemented by painting— to construct images that move fluidly between mediums. My work spans portraiture and landscapes, beginning with photographic capture and evolving through painting, AI, and digital manipulation. I aim to create visual worlds where memory, identity, and imagined space overlap, dissolving the boundaries between what is seen and what is felt.
