Description from the seller
Prelude
“Prelude” is a work of contemporary cubism that represents a musician at the very start of a theme, built with geometric planes, intense colors, and an aesthetic close to the modern harlequin. The figure with a guitar, fragmented and expressive, directly connects with the tradition of the troubadour and the musical iconography within modern art.
The composition stands out for its chromatic contrast, dynamic reading, and decorative strength, elements highly valued in abstract painting and geometric art. Its style recalls contemporary reinterpretations of classic cubism, making it an attractive piece for collectors seeking works with visual impact, musical theme, and stage presence.
Ideal for those seeking art with color, rhythm, expression, and a pronounced modern character.

About the artist
I am a visual artist with more than 25 years of artistic career in which I have explored various techniques and supports, including drawing, photography, animation, and video installation. For me, painting is more than a medium of expression: it is a language of its own, a means to convey emotions, concepts, and perspectives through color and form. Each of my works is unique and unrepeatable, born from an intuitive and authentic artistic process.
In my most recent work I am exploring a vibrant and very personal painting, where I combine imagined landscapes, still lifes, and everyday scenes with a geometric and color-rich language. I am interested in playing with light, shapes, and perspectives to create images that move between the real and the symbolic. These works arise from the desire to build spaces that invite looking calmly, discovering details, and being carried away by the energy of color.
My work has participated in international exhibitions, biennials, and fairs such as the Havana Biennial, the Curitiba Biennial, the Mercosur Biennial, the Asunción Biennial, the Berlin Art Biennale, and fairs such as ARCO, among others. It is also part of public and private collections such as the Paraná Institute of Art, the Havana Cultura Collection, and the Benetton Collection.
