Born in Havana in 1972, Alonso is a Cuban-Spanish visual artist whose career links cinema, photography and contemporary image. Trained in Madrid, he began in cinema as assistant director and cameraman, collaborating notably with Bertrand Fèvre, Pedro Almodóvar and José Luis García Sánchez. This journey through cinema permanently marks his relation to the frame, to silence and to rhythm. Based in Arles, he now develops a visual work present in private collections in Europe, Asia and the United States.
