Description from the seller
Painting - " Maki " - 30 x 40 cm, varnish, oil on canvas, author's certificate.
Author - Piotr Sujka (born 1971).
He studied at the Academy of Fine Arts in Warsaw in the faculty of painting and mural painting. He is mainly involved in sacred painting. Author of polychrome works in churches in Albania (Tirana, Lezhë, Balldren, Shkodër, Derven and many others) where he lived and worked for 10 years. In Poland, author of polychromy in churches in Warsaw, Lublin, Łęczna, Puławy.
His passion is above all figurative art.
In easel painting, the dominant theme is mainly the woman, a portrait presented in a simplified manner, distant from realism but also distant from abstraction.
As a versatile artist, he paints landscapes en plein air, realistic, sometimes bordering on abstraction. Thus documenting the places where he stayed. The painting " Maki " dates from the year 2026. The painting was painted on canvas with dimensions 30x40 cm.
