Lacalle’s work explores the relationship between color, structure, and spatial perception through geometric abstraction.
Lacalle’s work is part of contemporary abstract art at the intersection of expressive abstraction and rigorous composition.
This piece is especially suitable for collectors seeking a work with strong visual presence in contemporary interiors.
About the artist:
Lacalle is a Spanish artist with a solid career and a coherent artistic evolution, developed over more than a decade of training in the studio of painter and gallerist Nieves Solana (Madrid).
Her work sits in a transitional line between contemporary expressionism and geometric abstraction, with a clearly defined plastic identity where color acts as the structural axis of the composition.
She works on multiple supports (canvas, panel, paper) and techniques (oil, acrylic, mixed media), with particular attention to textures, glazes, and chromatic construction, adding depth and visual richness to each piece.
She has exhibited solo and collectively in various spaces in Madrid, Ibiza, and Portugal, and her work is currently in international private collections (Spain, France, United Kingdom, Portugal, Philippines, Austria, and Switzerland).
The artist has had media presence in press and specialized outlets such as El Mundo, Onda Cero, El punto de las artes, Digital Vanitatis, Hola magazine, etc.
