"Inner Vision" is a work that transcends the naturalistic representation of the boreal owl to explore the dimension of the sacred and the intangible. In this sculpture, Federico Alibrio abandons the predator gaze of the nocturnal raptor to portray it in a moment of absolute contemplation: closed eyes and a slightly inclined head suggest an introspective journey, a search for truth that does not belong to the visible world, but to the world of the soul.

The artist’s technical mastery emerges in the contrast between matter and color. The surface is characterized by a vibrant, almost archaic texture, reminiscent of stone carved by time or the bark of ancient trees. The color transition is of rare beauty: a deep and spiritual lavender gray envelops the face and then fades into a dusty blue and unexpected emerald veins on the body, evoking the rarefied atmospheres of twilight and mystery.

The boreal owl, historically considered the guardian of the night and the bridge between worlds, becomes here a symbol of silent wisdom. "Inner Vision" is not only an animal sculpture, but an invitation to the observer to stop, close the eyes and rediscover one’s inner vision. A unique piece that fuses the strength of the earth (clay) with the lightness of the spirit.

The piece, unique and original ceramic work, was modeled in clay and fired, subsequently ceramicized with special-effect glazes.

The Italian artist Federico Alibrio, born in 1995, is always seeking inspiration to grow with new experiences.

Graduated in Sculpture in 2021 from the Academy of Fine Arts of Catania, he works in sculpture and painting. He has participated and continues to participate in exhibitions and symposia of high cultural profile, demonstrating commitment and seriousness in tackling sculptural practice.

Reality itself is the greatest source of inspiration. His passions are: wildlife (sensitive to endangered species) and trees. His goal is to display the beauty of nature.
