Nicole Lubbers - Evolve

Nicole Lubbers has been moving at an international level within the contemporary art world for years. Her work has been exhibited in cities such as New York, Prague, and this month in Colling. She has exhibited twice on Times Square and achieved second place at the World Art Awards. In addition, she participated in various international biennales, and her work is represented in several galleries scattered across Europe.

With her latest collection, Nicole Lubbers is charting a distinctly new artistic path. While her international experience remains perceptible, she now consciously chooses stillness, layering, and authenticity. In her recent works she explores the fragile beauty of memory, fading, and emotional resonance.

Working with durable oil paint, acrylic, and charcoal, she creates aesthetic compositions that feel like faded manuscripts of memory — intuitive, poetic, and raw at the same time. Her canvases balance between abstraction and recognition, between silence and movement. Each work bears traces of emotion, time, and human presence.

The works are produced on stretched canvas of 50 x 70 cm and are deliberately presented without a frame. This preserves the purity of the work and gives the collector the freedom to tailor the artwork entirely to their interior and experience — with or without a frame.
