The old telephone becomes here much more than an object: a symbol of memory, waiting, and mystery. Associated with the delicacy of black lace and the depth of chiaroscuro, it composes a cinematic scene of troubling refinement.

The image’s textured treatment evokes black-and-white photography and posters from classic film noirs, where each shadow tells an invisible emotion. The deliberately fragmented framing — lips, hand, shoulder line — gives space to imagination and reinforces the narrative power of the work.
