Description from the seller

From “Psyche and Love” by François Gérard, Italy (1770-1837)
instagram: Teejocreator

Teejo is a widely recognized international artist, specializing in digital collage for over 6 years. Listed on Artprice, he develops a singular universe blending contemporary creation, visual culture, and digital mastery. A sought-after, well-valued signature by collectors, well beyond the fleeting trends linked to AI.

“A poisoned love?”
In this contemporary reading of an ancient myth, I wanted to transpose the divine idyl of Cupid and Psyche to the era of notifications, tattoos, and disillusionment. Cupid, turned urban bad boy, cap, tattooed torso, luxury shoulder bag, and brand flip-flops, looks over his shoulder—what is he looking at on his phone?
He embraces a Psyche far less naive than she seems. Her worried gaze betrays it; doubt settles in.
Above them, the symbol of the lonely like hovers as a toxic blessing. This artificial heart becomes the sole emotional anchor of a love perhaps too displayed, too ephemeral, too dubious to be real.
By crossing mythology, streetwear codes, and social media language, this work questions the fragility of modern emotional ties, where love borders on vice, temptation, and permanent suspicion.

Teejo is a contemporary French artist. Cultural mediator, He modernizes old works by great masters by reinventing them with his own vision. He hopes to reintroduce to the whole world ancient paintings by great masters sometimes forgotten with time. His passion for classical art has allowed him to develop his talent. He also creates new original works combining poetry, satire, prevention, and imagination, conveying many messages through his creations. These works are sold worldwide.

He creates his pieces using digital tools and enjoys mixing and revisiting techniques to achieve the best result. He is also the designer of the “perceptual duality,” a graphic innovation filed with the National Institute of Industrial Property, enabling multiple images in a single painting through color sunglasses.
