Up for sale is a decorative, older painting with a romantic theater and ballet scene. Depicted are a Pierrot or Harlequin and a ballerina/dancer in a moody, softly painted scene.
The work is signed bottom left in red, the signature is best read as probably “F. Rainer.” Further information about the artist, such as full first name, nationality, as well as birth and death years, is not known.

Date of origin: presumably around 1930, according to available information about 90 years old
