AI-assisted summary

Description from the seller

Limited edition sculpture of 25 pieces in bronze and corten steel created by the Spanish sculptor Pancho Porto.
Dynamic sculpture; the dogs are attached to the plinth by magnets, so they can be placed in different positions.
The sculpture is hand-signed and numbered, accompanied by its respective certificate of authenticity.
The sculpture is in new condition; shipping is carried out within a maximum of 2 days, and the sculpture is delivered perfectly packaged.

Pancho Porto (Santiago de Compostela, 1988) began his training in artistic cabinetmaking at the Antonio Failde center in Ourense.
At this school he first came into contact with disciplines such as carving, drawing, or modeling, and, more importantly, with workshop work.
Later he enrolled at the Mestre Mateo School of Arts and Trades in Santiago de Compostela, where he studied what would later become his main discipline: sculpture.
It is at this school where he already works with materials that would be fundamental in his work, such as steel or clay.
Parallely, Porto continues his training personally and researches other materials such as bronze or resins and their multiple uses and finishes, leaning towards the use of bronze and steel as the definitive materials for his works.

After this initial stage of training, he decides to install his studio on the banks of the Sarela River, very close to where he was born.
It is here that he begins his particular theoretical and practical investigation of the relationship between the materials used in each work and the message they convey.
This leads him to seek new approaches to communicating and narrating his story.
Since then, this has been the regular mode of his works, adding complexity and depth to his body of work, with themes that touch both on social issues and his personal experiences.
