Description from the seller
"Revolution" after "Bonaparte crossing the Great Saint Bernard" painted by Jacques-Louis David in 1801. A homage to urban culture, to street art and to street artists expressing their messages, dreams and feelings through this beautiful canvas that is the street... a free artistic revolution.
Teejo is a French contemporary artist. He modernizes old works by great masters by reinventing them with his own vision. He aims to make (re)discover to the whole world ancient paintings by great masters sometimes forgotten over time. His passion for classical art has allowed him to develop his talent. He also creates new original works that blend poetry, satire, cautionary themes and imagination, conveying many messages through his creations. These works are sold around the world.
He creates his pieces using digital tools and enjoys mixing and revisiting techniques to achieve the best possible result. He is also the designer of the "perceptual duality", a graphic innovation filed with the National Institute of Industrial Property enabling multiple images in a single painting through color-filter glasses.
