Atelier Versace Nessuna Riserva - Barocco scarf, silk twill made in Italy, 160 cm by 43 cm, in excellent condition with light signs of wear.
Description from the seller
No Reserve
This silk twill scarf from the Atelier Versace line is an iconic piece that perfectly embodies the house's DNA: the golden Baroque motif on a red background is a timeless classic that evokes the luxury of the 1990s/2000s.
It is a high-end piece from Atelier Versace, printed in the brand's iconic style. Made in lightweight silk twill and finished with hand-stitched edges, of artisanal quality.
Atelier is the Parisian Haute Couture equivalent, but with a deeply Milanese soul. The scarf is in silk twill, the fabric of choice for Atelier accessories:
#100yearsmarilynmonroe_lux
The Weave: Twill is recognizable by its fine diagonal ribs. It is heavier and more durable than smooth silk (charmeuse), which allows colors (like that vibrant red) to penetrate deeply into the fibers.
The Brilliance: Note how the yellow isn’t a flat yellow, but almost looks like molten gold. This is possible only thanks to high-definition silkscreen printing techniques typical of Como production (where Versace has always produced its silks). It is part of the Baroque repertoire of the Maison:
The Acanthus Volutes: They echo the temple decorations of Magna Graecia (Gianni's Calabrian roots).
Symmetry: Everything in Atelier Versace is built on perfect symmetry, which conveys a sense of power and regality to the wearer. Wrap it around your shoulders for a special evening.
Excellent condition: probably never worn.
Height 160 cm, width 43 cm.
Brand: Atelier Versace
Italy, around 2000.
Care tips:
No direct perfume contact; it’s natural silk.
How to store: Do not hang it for months (it could lose shape). The ideal is to store it flat, folding it gently without crushing it.
Comes with a new box.
