Collection of original early 19th-century hand-colored aquatints by Luigi Mayer depicting historical Egyptian scenes including Alexandria, mosques, ancient ruins, and Heliopolis.
Published circa 1802 with original period coloring and wide margins.
Condition varies with age-related toning, foxing, fold marks, and wear consistent with antique paper prints. Sold as a collection.
Image size (plate mark): approximately 29 × 39 cm.
Sheet size: approximately 23.5 × 31 cm.
Condition: Very good overall. Some marginal wear and a few small pinholes consistent with age, none affecting the image area.
