Description of the work:

In the heart of an arid landscape where the earth has cracked under the weight of time and silence, three silhouettes move slowly toward the horizon. Two majestic elephants frame a young calf, walking together on this cracked ground that seems to tell the story of a world tested but still alive.
The composition is powerful and balanced: the two giants form a protective presence while the little one embodies hope, transmission and the future. The contrast of black and white enhances the texture of the skin, the strength of the gazes and the roughness of the landscape.
This photograph evokes family, protection and resilience in the face of a world sometimes hostile. Despite the drought and the hardness of the ground, they move forward together — timeless symbol of solidarity and quiet strength.

Artist’s Statement:

With Between Giants, I wanted to capture a universal moment: the moment when strength protects fragility. Between two giants, the little one advances, guided by the reassuring presence of those who precede.
This image speaks of transmission, protection and courage in a world that can be harsh. Even when the ground cracks beneath our steps, family and the instinct to protect remain immutable forces.
For me, this photograph is a simple and profound metaphor for life: moving forward together, despite the trials.
