πJS aka Stephen Joannon (Artist, Gallerist, Exhibition curator, Music critic…)
A versatile visual artist and conduit of forms, presents ROBBIT: a series of brightly colored sculptures, a playful homage to the worlds of Barry Flanagan, Jeff Koons and Kaws, carried by the electronic motifs of Herbie Hancock — particularly Rockit (1983), from which its name is derived. Created in Tourrettes-sur-Loup in collaboration with an exceptional craftsman, the collection comes in four silhouettes, each subsequently hand-painted in strictly unique variations.
Poem of metal and matter, ROBBIT blends pop audacity with playful gentleness: a sculptural presence that strikes with chromatic optimism and visual melody. These pieces, designed to cross gazes and complement contemporary collections, are produced in limited editions — an invitation to seize the work before its disappearance.
