“Unstable Icon” reworks a recognizable historic image, transforming it into a fluid and unstable vision. The scene, originally loaded with tension and symbolic meaning, is deformed until its edges lose their certainty, as if viewed through a constantly moving substance.

The figures emerge and disappear at the same time, trapped on a surface that seems to melt. This process does not destroy the image, but challenges it, suspending it between memory and transformation.

The work reflects on the fragility of icons and their capacity to change over time: what was once a symbol of strength and identity becomes something unstable here, open to new interpretations. An image that no longer imposes itself as truth, but dissolves to leave room for a more emotional and contemporary perception.
