Antique petrol lamp dating to 1850–1900, made of Lega metal with a glass chimney, in good condition and in working order.
Description from the seller
Ancient oil lamp (or kerosene lamp) dating from the late 19th century. Each side features embossed relief decorations depicting a "putto" in different poses (see photo), thus four different positions. It is in perfect condition. It is an antique piece probably made of antimony or bronzed zama, characterized by Baroque or Neo-Renaissance style. The base and body are cast metal (antimony or zama), while the upper chimney is glass. It belonged to my grandmother. It has always been in my parents' house, paired with another oil lamp, and a similar candelabrum, resting on a splendid Petinouse. I have no memory of it being lit in the last 30 years.
