The cast bars have a classic square cast bar design. Cast gold bars have, compared to minted bars, the advantage that the surface is more resistant to scratches. A gold bar produced by the casting process can be confidently handled in the hand to feel the high specific gravity of 99.99% pure gold, without worrying about damaging the bar or affecting it with fingerprints.
Cast bars have, by design, rounded edges and small solidification lines. This makes every Au bar a one-of-a-kind piece.
