The cast bars have a classic square cast bar design. Cast gold bars have the advantage over minted bars that the surface is more resistant to scratches. A gold bar produced by the casting process can be safely handled to weigh the high specific weight of 99.99% pure gold in your hand, without fearing to damage the bar or affect it with fingerprints. Casting bars have rounded edges and small solidification lines due to the manufacturing process. This makes every Au bar a unique piece.
