Description from the seller
Turkish Railways watch, manual winding, 17 jewels, with no signs of wear, new, featuring a locomotive and the moon and star, Turkish flag on the back of the watch; brand Perso with a black eagle; silver color of the case; white dial color. These watches were given to those who worked for the railways, to the train chief who retired, so it was like a gratuity given. It is very old; you could say it’s like a collectible watch, and for those who love watches and collect these trinkets, it wasn’t strange to have them once, but now they don’t give them anymore. And as gratuities they give other things with the modern era. Then this watch is not Italian but Turkish, and obtaining them and finding them even today is rare to get such a piece. What can I say, it’s a leap back to the past, to the good old days when people treated themselves with little; in the sense that now, with the modern era and technology, we want more and more. Anyway, it’s a relic of the Turkish railways of past years.
