Description:
This is a woven bamboo flower basket, made in an elegant, elongated form with a tall overhead handle. Its gently waisted body and open top give it the appearance of a basket designed to hold a small insert for flowers, making it well suited to ikebana display.
The basket is woven from narrow bamboo strips in a warm brown tone, showing attractive variation in color from honey to dark chestnut. The rim is finished with a thicker braided binding, while the high arched handle is formed from slim bent bamboo elements that rise gracefully from either side. Small raised feet at the base add stability and a subtle touch of refinement.
