This richly illustrated work on practical geometry, trigonometry, surveying, measurement, perspective and stereometry is famous for its numerous engraved plates depicting:
geometric constructions,
scientific and measuring instruments,
land surveying,
architectural and garden views,
military and engineering subjects,
and views related to Versailles and Trianon.
The set is complete with all engraved plates:
Tome I: 137 plates - 346 pp.
Tome II: 120 plates - 337 pp.
