Stanca Dumitrescu - Human mind

"Human Mind" is an abstract expressionist painting I created through dynamic gestures, layered textures and areas of thick paste in relief. The surface features multiple tactile structures that add depth, energy and movement to the composition.

The canvas was originally stretched on a frame and I later removed it for safer international transport; the edges are slightly curved and already prepared for re‑mounting on a stretcher. This is a unique, hand‑painted artwork, sealed with a final varnish, and it can be displayed in multiple orientations.

Conceptually, the piece reflects the chaotic state of the human mind — overlapping thoughts, impulses and tensions — representing the raw, unfiltered phase that comes before mental clarity.
