Description from the seller
Title: "Two Spirals"
Description:
This work tells of movement, repetition and the silent connection between two forms that resemble each other yet go their own way. The spirals act like thoughts, memories or encounters that slowly unfold and repeatedly return to their origin.
The dark lines stand in contrast to the calm grey background and create an atmosphere between quiet and tension. The scattered splashes of color give the painting a sense of liveliness and unpredictability—as if real life reveals itself again in the middle of order.
"Two Spirals" can be read as a symbol of relationships: two energies, two people or two life paths that exist independently and yet are connected. The painting invites you to pause and in the apparent simplicity continually discover new movements and meanings.

Christoph Prein is an Austrian artist known for his abstract and contemporary works, mainly created with acrylic paints. Originally from St. Margarethen near Knittelfeld, Prein’s pieces are often characterized by a minimalist, abstract style and are carefully crafted from high-quality materials to ensure vibrant colors and longevity. In his art, he frequently engages with themes such as identity, memory and the exploration of human emotions, often blurring the line between the visible and the invisible.
Prein’s approach to art is multidimensional, combining painting with elements of sculpture and installation. This unique style has earned him recognition both in Austria and internationally, with exhibitions across Europe, North America and Asia. His works invite viewers to reflect on the complexities of the modern world and the deeper aspects of the human experience.
For a painting measuring 200 x 120 cm you need a stretched canvas frame of size 190 x 110 cm and a thickness of 2-4 cm.
You can then either simply stretch the canvas yourself or have it stretched by a craftsman or gallery.
This is a handmade original, signed by the artist on the back and dated.
High-quality and lightfast acrylic paints have been applied on multiple-primed white gallery canvas.
A varnish was also applied to protect the work.
This work is handmade and therefore unique!
--- Authenticity certificate included ---
Beautify your private residence, law firm, practice or office and upgrade your premises in an elegant and stylish way.
If a person goes into his innermost depths, into a sphere that rarely comes to light, into a space that mysteriously and hidden waits to be discovered, tickled awake, also tormentingly propped up, then art is born.
