Luca Cartoonist - Birra?

Luca Cartoonist, registered name Luca Angelini, born in 1986, is an emerging artist in the world of pop art. Always passionate about comics (Disney in particular), he graduates in advertising graphics from the Art Institute of Ascoli Piceno and then completes his artistic studies by earning a degree in comic and illustration at the Academy of Fine Arts in Bologna.
Drawing and painting will continue to be part of his life despite a different career path (though always artistic), until 2020, when, during the pandemic, he decides to fully enter the world of pop art.
He mainly represents characters from the cartoon/comics world, adapting them and placing them within contemporary situations, often using pop icons from yesterday and today.
He primarily uses acrylic colors, spray cans, and mixed media techniques of printing and collage on canvas.
Since 2021 he has collaborated with several Italian art galleries, participating with his works in events such as ArtParmafair, BAF, and some group exhibitions (MilanoFashion & Art, Espressioni d'artista…).
