Mirco Marchelli (born 1963), Le Serie Di Gruppo, a mixed‑media work on plexiglass, 26 by 32 cm, Italy, Contemporary, Original edition, dated 1990–2000, hand-signed, sold with frame.
Description from the seller
Seeing the success of the two previous Works, which found a home in Portugal, I propose another Work by Mirco Marchelli, one of the Artists I love the most.
He titled it "Serie Di Gruppo".
It is a very poetic mixed technique, protected by a sheet of plexiglass, part of one of the "series" that Mirco loved to produce in the moment of research that I consider the best of his career.
In his Works the first reference is to Arte povera, but I believe that, like many of the Artists I favor, he cannot be framed within a manifesto, current, or artistic movement.
The proposal of these works is a kind of Test, to evaluate how many visitors to this Space can grasp and appreciate this type of artistic representation.
Mirco is present in several Italian and foreign Art Galleries, but I prefer to show him without too many frills, exactly as he prefers to be looked at.
