Beautiful hand-blown Murano glass vase “Ruffled Rim,” from the mid-20th century (1950s–1960s), originating from Italy, with characteristics of the glassmakers Fratelli Toso or Archimede Seguso.

This cobalt blue hand-blown glass vase features multicolored inclusions and a fascinating spiral at the neck, sitting on a base in deep cobalt blue and translucent color that serves as a canvas for the decoration.

Globular design with a slender neck and a meticulously handcrafted ruffled rim.

Made with the “Macchia” or “Spatter” technique, where fragments of colored glass (coral red, canary yellow, opal white, and turquoise) are incorporated before the final blowing.

Dimensions: 16 cm high and 10 cm in diameter.
