Begoña Castedo’s Remolino (2020) is an original, single work in mixed media and acrylic on canvas, 20 × 20 × 3.5 cm, from the series The Silences Underwater, depicting animals, signed and in excellent condition.
Description from the seller
“Silences under the water”
In this series, the artist seeks to capture the sense of calm, the suspension of time and the silent beauty of the aquatic world.
Each work combines layers of color, textures and transparencies that evoke currents, reflections and changing depths. The fish appear as luminous presences, suspended between the real and the imaginary, creating atmospheres of contemplation and serene movement.
The pieces can be appreciated both individually and together, forming a common universe of light, water and matter.
