Beautifully executed Danish silver teapot on a burner (rechaud), manufactured by the silversmith Arent Nicolai Dragsted in Copenhagen (1821-1898). Crown jeweler to the Danish Court

The bulb-shaped kettle with a richly ornamented three-legged stand with spirit lamp. Equipped with original tap with a wooden knob and matching lid crown. Stands on 4 wooden feet. Two outside fold-out ornaments to grip the kettle. The whole is executed in typical 19th-century design with light Art Nouveau influences.

The kettle bears the Danish silver marks and the Crown of Dragsted.

De bolvormige ketel met een rijk geornamenteerde driepoot met spiritusbrander. Voorzien van originele kraan met houten knop en bijpassende dekselbekroning. Staat op 4 houten pootjes. Aan de twee buitenzijde inklapbare ornamenten om de ketel op te pakken. Het geheel is uitgevoerd in typisch 19e-eeuws ontwerp met lichte Art Nouveau-invloeden.

De ketel draagt de zilverkeuren van Denemarken en de Kroon van Dragsted.
