Joaquim Falcó (Barcelona, 1958) is a Catalan painter linked to contemporary abstract expressionism. His work is characterized by gestural compositions, strong chromatic contrasts, and an spontaneous use of line and matter. Throughout his career he has developed a visual language centered on color, rhythm, and expressive intensity.
In “Se va el caimán”, Falcó develops a vibrant and spontaneous composition through broad brushstrokes in red, blue, and violet, crossed by signs and black strokes of strong gestural charge. The work combines symbolic references and abstraction in a dynamic scene where color and movement take a central role.
