Gottfried Moroder (1921) - Panorama Alpino

Atmospheric alpine landscape painting with two mountain huts in a wide mountain panorama. The work impresses with its atmospheric depiction and the harmonious color gradations in blue, green, and ochre tones, typical of South Tyrolean landscape painting of the 20th century. The painting is signed bottom left with “Moroder” and was probably executed in oil or mixed media on paper mounted on cardboard. The back shows age-related signs of wear as well as remnants of earlier fastenings, as visible in the photos. The composition recalls the Dolomite landscapes of the Gröden region and is ideal for collectors of regional Alpine art or as a decorative object for chalet and country-house style.
