Description from the seller
Collection of vintage decorative masks, mainly ceramic and leather, typical of the Venetian tradition and international craftsmanship.
These objects are often used as wall-mounted decorative accessories and include several styles and materials:
Venetian Masks in Ceramic
The masks on the left side of the image are typical reproductions of the Carnival of Venice in ceramic or glazed porcelain.
Mask with fan decoration (lower left): It is a classic model often decorated with floral motifs and gold leaf details, dating from the 1990s.
Small golden mask (upper left): Similar to the "Visetto" models, these miniature masks can be made of brass or gilded ceramic.
Ethnic and Leather Mask
Ethnic Mask (upper right): This piece appears to be an ethnic or tribal mask, possibly of South American or Mexican origin, characterized by vivid colors and bold features.
Black Leather Mask (lower right): This is a three-dimensional leather sculpture shaped (often called "Leather Art"). These handcrafted pieces, popular in the 1970s and 1980s, often depict faces wrapped in drapery and are typical of production from Puerto Plata in the Dominican Republic or from French ateliers.
