In the light, the surface unfolds a clear presence. Depending on the incidence of light and viewing angle, the texture and depth change, individual layers stand out more strongly. The work appears spatial and physical – perception arises when walking, standing, lingering.

Frequency DEEP VIOLET is inspired by sound and frequency. From my work as a pianist I transfer rhythm, pause and repetition into a visual structure.
The composition follows a reduced order. Repetitions create tensions comparable to held tones, while subtle color shifts mark transitions.
Work details:
Title: Frequency DEEP VIOLET
Size: 80 × 80 cm × 4.5 cm
Technique & materials: Acrylic paint and heavy-gel texture paste on canvas, built up in layers with various spatulas. The pigments form elevations and overlays with calm, pulsing tension.
Only the highest quality materials are used: Amsterdam Expert acrylic paints, Liquitex texture pastes – all locally produced in Austria.
Frame: Wide support frame made of solid natural wood (included in the price).
(Black decorative frame not included)
Images: The images were taken under professional studio lighting. The light is essential for the color play of the works. The artist recommends placing the works under direct or indirect light to bring out the color play and make the pieces come alive.
