The nature of the technique I use makes every piece in the series a unique and unrepeatable work.
The work consists of a pyramidal prism, interrupted three-quarters of the way by a hollow portion. I regard this piece as a vindication of the Self over the vicissitudes of existence, but also as an innate yearning upward. Toward a metamorphosis of form into pure energy. Matter that becomes spirit. The hollow portion that interrupts the ascent of the form toward the summit is characterized as a set of parts that, unused, remain imprinted as empty traces of past experiences.
