BOZ, BOZCHEWBACCA (1985), an original hand-painted acrylic on canvas mounted on a wooden frame, signed, 80 × 60 cm, France, period after 2020, depicting Pop Culture, sold by Galerie.
Description from the seller
Technique: hand-painted on canvas mounted on a wooden frame.
The frame visible in some photos is only a staging suggestion created by the gallery to aid visualization in an interior setting.
The frame is not included with the artwork.
BOZ (born in 1985) is a French artist and graffiti writer who has participated for several years in various projects and artistic collaborations related to the international urban scene.
His work has been seen through various interventions and creations carried out under several labels and collectives, while maintaining a deliberately discreet identity.
As part of a confidential collaboration around the distribution of certain original works, a few selected pieces are today offered exclusively on Catawiki.
BOZ deliberately favors a limited and discreet diffusion, without large public presence or traditional communication around his identity.
His graphic universe blends street art, naive figuration, and neo-expressionist energy, with powerful black lines, instinctive characters, and a raw visual writing that is immediately recognizable.
Each work is made by hand in a spontaneous approach where graphic tension, symbols, and emotion mingle.
His monochrome and highly graphic works are conceived as strong pieces for collecting and contemporary decoration, somewhere between street art, modern brut art, and underground culture.
