EXHIBITIONS

- Palazzo Borghese, Florence, 14/06/2025;

“ARCHEMISIO”
is a contemporary painter renowned for his hyperrealistic oil-on-canvas works, blending photographic precision with the dramatic lighting typical of Caravaggio. Raised on the streets of Rome, from a young age he was fascinated by the Baroque masterpieces displayed in the city’s churches and museums, developing a passion for the contrast between light and shadow and the emotional intensity of the figures.

After studying at the Academy of Fine Arts in Rome, Archemisio traveled through Europe and the United States, refining the hyperrealist technique through the study of modern artists. However, his style is distinguished by a Caravaggesque heritage: his works capture minute details (from facial wrinkles to reflections on an object) yet are bathed in a theatrical, directional light that sculpts volumes and creates an atmosphere rich in symbolism.
