Description from the seller
MiLo – “Residual Geometry”
A layered abstract composition balancing structure and erosion. Thin linear forms move across the surface like fragments of a fading framework, interrupted by blurred fields, scratches, and softened traces that appear to emerge and dissolve simultaneously.
The restrained monochrome palette combines with energetic surface activity to create tension between precision and decay. Weathered textures and drifting lines give the work an architectural and atmospheric quality, while subtle variations in tone and mark-making continue to reveal themselves over time.
The painting can be hung both vertically and horizontally, allowing the composition and visual rhythm to shift depending on its presentation.
The painting will be rolled and shipped securely in a sturdy tube or box. The frame is not included. A signed certificate of authenticity will be included. The canvas can easily be stretched or framed by a local framer.
