Description from the seller
From the series “Dreamscape Horizon”
Acrylic on canvas, 110 × 110 cm (frame not included), canvas 500 g/m².
The painting will be shipped rolled, without a stretcher frame. Signed on the back, with a certificate of authenticity.
● When stretched onto a stretcher with a depth of 2 cm, the visible image area is approximately 102 × 102 cm.
● When stretched onto a stretcher with a depth of 4 cm, the visible image area is approximately 98 × 98 cm.
Please note that the measurements may vary slightly depending on the stretcher and the stretching.
This work belongs to the series “Dreamscape Horizon,” in which Alla Faber creates landscapes between reality and imagination—calm, atmospheric spaces where light and color take center stage.
In “Serenity” a quiet, almost meditative coastal landscape unfolds. The luminous green of the water forms a tense contrast to the warm, pinkish sky, lending the scene a slightly surreal, dreamlike quality. The light on the horizon seems to dissolve gently in the space, creating a calm, floating atmosphere.
The reflections in the water are soft, providing depth without losing the lightness of the composition. The dark rocks provide calm accents in the foreground and lead the eye into the distance.
The large-format painting is particularly well suited for modern living spaces, bedrooms, quiet work areas, or stylish office environments, bringing a harmonious, relaxing mood into the room.
About the artist
Alla Faber lives and works in Hamburg.
For several years she has been devoted to abstract and contemporary painting, creating large-format works that balance between stillness and movement, structure and ease.
Her preferred materials are acrylic paints, texture gels, and metal foils—combined in fine, often multi-layered compositions.
Through delicate transitions, harmonious color gradients, and light reflections, images emerge that do not dominate the space but fill it with quiet presence.
Her artistic practice follows the concept “So klingt die Stille” — a painterly exploration of the moment between sound and silence.
In this silence, for Faber there is no emptiness, but a vibrant force: the breathing of light, the whisper of colors, the gentle pulsing of the room.
Her works invite the viewer to pause and listen to the stillness — that state in which calm, light, and emotion meld into a harmonious unity.
Exhibitions & Collections:
Her works have already been shown in several exhibitions in Hamburg, including Hamburg zeigt Kunst, and in various galleries and HASPA branches.
Numerous pieces are today in private collections across Europe—in Germany, France, Italy, Spain, Portugal, the Netherlands, Sweden, the United Kingdom, and other countries.
