AI-assisted summary

Description from the seller

Pair of decorative Jasba ceramics – West Germany – 1950s/60s

Two exceptional ceramic objects from the German manufacturer Jasba, produced in West Germany around the late 1950s to early 1960s.

The two vases/ceramic vessels show Jasba's typical modern post-war style with geometric decorations, hand-painted color fields, and distinctive shapes. Especially notable is the combination of bold colors, black matte glaze, and graphic lines, which today looks surprisingly modern and reminiscent of later Memphis designs.

1. Bulky handle vessel. (Jug)
Form number: 225/24

Height 22 cm
Diameter 25 cm
Diameter top ~9 cm
Diameter bottom 10 cm

2. Cylindrical vase
Form number: 127/25
There is still a remaining sticker on the vase.

Height 25 cm
Diameter 12.5 cm
Diameter top 8 cm
Diameter bottom 8 cm

Both pieces bear the imprint "WEST GERMANY" and the form numbers on the underside.

Condition:
Good age-appropriate condition with slight signs of use. The vase has a small chip at the base (barely noticeable when standing the vase). The jug has a stain on the handle, which is due to production.

A decorative and collectible ensemble from the classic West German ceramics era.

Ceramics will be carefully packed and shipped insured.
