After finishing his compulsory military service in 1960, Daniel Cande, Leica in hand, toured the photographic agencies of Paris, his hometown. One morning he knocked on the door of the Apis agency; his first reportage was framed under the sign of show business, since it involved doing a 'Close-up' of the filming of a movie. After that there were many more.
