Vintage or antique Art Nouveau brooch in silver with carnelian.
The brooch has a slender, openwork form with geometric and flowing lines. In the center sits an oval cabochon-cut carnelian.
The brooch is re-stamped in the Netherlands with the shaded I. This hallmark was used for silver items in the period before 1954.
No maker’s mark has been found. The brooch has a well-functioning safety catch. The pin itself is possibly made of non-precious metal.

• Marked with the shaded I for silver, Dutch re-stamping before 1954
