Iconic dress, runway model, from the historic house Vionnet, designed during the creative direction of Goga Ashkenazi. This model, presented on the catwalk, is a perfect balance between sculptural elegance and modernity.

The dress is entirely made in a black lurex-knit with gold threads, featuring a noble and sophisticated texture. The geometric design sculpts the figure thanks to the intentional alternation of vertical and diagonal ribs, enhancing the waist and creating an elongating optical effect. Sleeveless, crew neck, it highlights the shoulders and underlines the waist. The lower part of the dress features a delicate pleating that moves with lightness and fluidity, for a timeless elegance.
The sparkling effect of the lurex makes it perfect for evening events, red carpet, gala, or ceremonies.

The Vionnet collection in which this dress was presented drew inspiration from a valuable historical archive of 17,000 pieces, recently acquired by the house. The lines, inlays and finishes directly recall Madeleine Vionnet’s creative heritage, but reinterpreted in a modern key with metallic yarns and light volumes.
