Winterbeelden is a 1995 Dutch-language, loose-leaf lot by Jan Wolkers titled with 24 pages, measuring 31 x 44 cm, published as a limited edition (No. 92 of 225) and signed, with the accompanying 12 photographs and 12 poems originally included but now separated.
Description from the seller
'Winter Beelden', a luxury cassette containing 12 photographs by Steye Raviez and 12 poems by Jan Wolkers, published by Kunstcentrum Zaanstad in collaboration with Stichting uitgeverij Noord-Holland, Wormerveer, 1995.
Originally there were also 12 (signed) silkscreens by Jan Wolkers, but these were removed at the time for an exhibition in Texel, framed, and then sold separately piece by piece. Additionally, 1 poem (Spring) and 1 photograph (Winter) are missing.
Unfortunately, this book is not complete; it is missing 12 silkscreens, 1 photograph, and 1 poem. Nevertheless, it remains a unique collector's item, signed by Jan Wolkers and still containing beautiful and unique content.
The photographs and poems are loose inside the book and can also be framed.
Because it is a limited edition (no. 92 of only 225 copies produced), despite the missing items it remains a special collectible object for the true Wolkers fan.
