Frequency BLUE SAND — Sculpture of light, structure & presence
Frequency BLUE SAND is inspired by sound and frequency. From my work as a pianist I translate rhythm, pause and repetition into a visual structure. The composition follows a reduced order. Repetitions create tensions comparable to held tones, while subtle color shifts mark transitions.
Artwork details:
Title: Frequency BLUE SAND
Size: 80 × 80 cm × 4.5 cm
Technique & Materials: Acrylic paint and heavy-gel structure paste on canvas, built up layer by layer with various spatulas. The pigments form elevations and overlays with calm, pulsating tension.
Only the highest quality materials are used: acrylic paints from Amsterdam Expert, texture pastes from Liquitex – all produced locally in Austria.
Framing: Wide carrier frame made of solid natural wood (included in price).
(Standard black decorative frame not included)
Images: The images were photographed under professional studio lighting. Light is essential for the color play of the works. The artist recommends placing the works under direct or indirect light to fully bring out the color play and make the pieces feel alive.
