A circular slide rule from the famous Faber-Castell brand, model 8/10, made in Germany in the late 1960s. This plastic analog calculating instrument (a disk 12.5 cm in diameter) is a true piece of technical and scientific history. The lot includes:
The Faber-Castell circular rule 8/10 (back printed with the vintage BASF-Farbstoffe advertisement).
Its original black faux-leather protective case with zipper (marked "BASF-Kunststoffe").
Its original user manual (Anleitung) in German, very well preserved.
Excellent cosmetic and functional condition. The white plastic is not yellowed, the graduations and formulas on the back are perfectly clear. The transparent cursor turns smoothly and shows no major scratches.
