Some tears and wears to original golden amber varnish, two old repaired cracks on the top.

Description:

Good quality high to medium grained spruce was chosen for the top, two pieces softly flamed maple back with matched sides, neck and scroll. Typical for french violin making black stripes on the scroll. The purfling is a tasteful work of good craftsmanship, just as the rich golden amber color varnish. The violin is ready to play with new strings and Aubert bridge. The sound is very deep, rich and powerful. The total length of the violin is 588 mm, body – 358 mm. Width of the upper bout: 169 mm; middle: 115 mm; lower: 208 mm. Full size.
