Incense burner - Copper - Two-eared three-legged

This small bronze incense burner from the Showa period of Japan is in the traditional three-legged tripod shape. The lid is decorated with a lion-shaped knob, and the body features openwork panels with relief carvings of peacocks and peonies, partially gilded. The decorations are vivid and the lines are smooth. The top of the lid has a smoke vent, and the sides of the body are decorated with elephant trunk handles. It is supported by three legs at the bottom. The overall shape is small and exquisite, and the bronze has a warm patina, showing obvious signs of use and age.
